The score in question is the Corporate Equality Index — or CEI — which is overseen by the Human Rights Campaign (HRC), the world's largest LGBT political lobby group. The HRC, which has received millions of dollars from the Open Society Foundation of George Soros and others, publishes “social virtue” scorecards of America's largest corporations through the CEI. How ? By awarding or subtracting points based on how well companies adhere to the “assessment criteria” defined by the HRC.
