Olympic Games 2024 - papir bitte

hashtable2024 Olympic Games: great prospects!

Hashtable – Apr 22, 2024

Less than 100 days before the next Olympic Games in Paris, we can clearly feel the excitement and joy gripping the entire country.

The capital and its inhabitants are clearly rejoicing in the festivities and never has the word “Olympic events” found such a beautiful resonance with what Parisians are currently going through, who are now enjoying every minute of anticipation of these future great moments.

Future great moments which must be carefully prepared and which have already been the opportunity, in particular for the mayor of Paris, to visit the locations of the various events in which we find – quite conveniently – Papeete, this small town which borders Paris and which will notably host the surfing events.

With a small plane trip (this is close to 15.000 kilometers) for which carbon compensation has not been mentioned - but which we can be sure has been carried out as Anne Hidalgo is obviously eco-conscious - and a small bill for the Parisian taxpayer of around 60.000 euros, the installations could be verified...ah no, ultimately, the trip triggering itching for the opposition, the Parisian taxpayers, part of the press and quite a few French people in general , the mayor will not have pushed to the site of the surfing event.

All this will lead us a few months later to a small investigation and searches to collect evidence of a possible illegal taking of interests and embezzlement of public funds (oh, gosh) which we have no doubt will allow to completely cleanse the honor of the municipal team.

The preparation does not stop there since, let us remember, it also includes the furtive removal of the bulky students who take bread from the athletes' accommodation: the expulsions have begun. Phew, the place is freed, the athletes are relieved, Olympism is breathing.

Likewise, deportation, the discreet movement of hundreds of migrants and other vagrants outside the city and their relocation, always at the expense of the taxpayer, almost everywhere in the rest of the country, is going rather well even if certain mayors (that of Orléans for example) are offended in a somewhat green way. Phew, the place is cleaned, the organizers relax, Olympism is smiling again.

But what would this beautiful ceremony be without great organization and above all solid security guaranteeing everyone to enjoy a show like no other?

And precisely, in this matter, we already know that everything will be done to obtain a level of security for individuals. Like never before... or almost, since we will finally put back in place what was a real success in 2021 and 2022, namely providing Parisians and spectators with a solid little QR code during their travels (the self- certificate should not take long now).

We are already delighted to know that an internet platform will soon be available, which will give all Parisians concerned the opportunity to enter a whole bunch of relevant information on their comings and goings, and we wish Olympic courage to all our seniors whose mastery of digital tools is more than sufficient to guarantee that these small QR codes will be correctly distributed.

And frankly, who is not already looking forward to a return of controls and police patrols in part of the capital? This will ensure the legendary security of Parisian streets at least during the games period. The residents concerned will love it!

Finally, all these considerations would not be complete without mentioning that all this will take place with almost total control of costs and expenses.

Indeed, when we read the article devoted to the costs of these Olympic Games, it appears that the calculation of the total is particularly precise: between the initial budget, the current budget, the overruns, the State guarantees, the various expenditure and revenue items, we are completely reassured about what will inevitably be the final responsibility of the taxpayer.

But if.

It appears, however, that the total should oscillate around 11 billion euros according to different estimates, of which 3, 4 or 5 billion would remain the responsibility of the taxpayers pardoned by the State according to Moscovici, the current president of the Court of Auditors, all for an initial budget of 3,8 billion euros, already higher than the 3,2 billion in the application file. We can only admire the truly diabolical precision of these figures and of the official body responsible for the Accounts: for a total of 11 billion, that gives us 7 billion in small plump overruns, and 3 to 5 billion euros of Public money gives us an envelope which varies easily by more than 60% on overruns of more than 100%. It's pretty.

Rest assured, however: the journalistic propaganda teams are already on deck to remind us that even with a bill of 11 billion euros (which the entire French Nation can very well afford in these times of growth and Macronian opulence), these games will probably be among the least expensive in recent history.

But if.

In fact, we even wonder, in the face of these modest figures, why we are sparing so much, even to the point that the Île-De-France region has, for example, refused to cover the travel costs of 200.000 accredited people (athletes, officials, journalists…) even though it had been courteously requested by the official Games committee and this budget only represents a little less than 10 million euros.

There is no denying that this event oozes millimeter precision and cost control down to the smallest item of expenditure! This puts us in the best position to imagine what the organization of the events themselves, of the opening and closing ceremonies, could give, and which suggests an exceptional level of quality for safety and security. support for players, spectators and all trades around this event. The English fans will love it!

No doubt, it will go very, very well. Everything will even be Olympic, for sure.

How Japan has produced wood sustainably for 700 years without cutting down trees

Japan's 700-year heritage of sustainable wood production is an example of harmony with nature. Thanks to techniques such as Daisugi, developed in the XNUMXth century, the Japanese preserve forests while harvesting wood. This tradition ensures a continued supply of high-quality wood, preserving ecosystems for future generations and demonstrating Japan's commitment to environmental management.

Daisugi, an ancient Japanese forestry method, appeared in the 14th century in Kitayama due to the shortage of young trees. Selective pruning of cedars made it possible to obtain straight, knot-free structural timbers. Born out of necessity, this method has evolved into a sustainable practice, embodying Japan's tradition of innovation in resource management for more than seven centuries. In Daisugi, cedars are planted and pruned in a particular way to encourage the growth of straight, knot-free wood. This selective pruning involves hand-cutting the shoots every two years, leaving only the upper branches intact.

Thierry Casasnovas - interview November 2023

Equality and ReconciliationInterview with Thierry Casasnovas - November 20, 2023

Equality and Reconciliation - 15 Jan 2024

Thierry Casasnovas, speaking to Kentra for ERTV on November 20, 2023, discusses the massive harassment that the System has subjected him to for 2 years: banking, administrative, media, judicial, police, political, economic violence...

Faced with this, we can appreciate the full duplicity of the political-health oligarchy, which has left the field open to a murderous Big Pharma – it is proven – and which treats a well-being specialist as a quasi-assassin.

We will therefore not talk about the illegal practice of medicine, sectarian movements and other nonsense, but rather about devastating competition for the pharmaceutical industry and the allopathic hierarchy, who are never prosecuted for their abuses! And when they are, thanks to the corruption of our politicians, it ends in blood sausage.

This resistance to the health order is treated as a dissident in the Soviet Union. French democracy is no better.

“I have a very significant force of coercion facing me... There is a price to pay which is gigantic. »

economic crash of the electric car

GeopolintelThe economic crash of the electric car

Geolintel - Oct 29, 2023

The automobile industry is forced to slow down the electrification of its models.

This is the trend that predominates in the United States, and throughout the world, company managers are increasingly worried about customer rejection and the exorbitant prices of spare parts such as batteries.
Mary Barra, CEO of General Motors, admits abandoning her initial goals for producing electric vehicles. “As we move forward with the transformation to electric vehicles, things get a little more complicated.”

Elon Musk, leader of electric cars in the United States, signaled that the economic crisis would lead to a drop in demand. The CEO of Mercedes Benz described the electric car market as “brutal” with cars costing thousands of dollars more than thermal models.
Inflation will have been the pivot of the fall of the electric vehicle, supply and demand still dominate the automobile market, and when the consumer no longer has the means to buy a vehicle, it is the manufacturer who suffers. .

In addition, the electrification of the charging station network is late and continues to be supported by diesel generators which are easy to install on the motorway network. The European Parliament passed a law to install a charging station every 60 kilometers by 2026. But three years is an eternity, and drivers can't wait that long.

A journey in an electric car is a delicate experience where the pleasure of driving fades after a quarter of an hour to find the locations of the charging stations. A journey in an electric car is also lengthened by the recharging time which is long compared to the time it takes to fill a petrol tank. The electric car only had an urban future consisting of short journeys and less need for recharging.

As of October 31, 2023, auto insurance prices will skyrocket.

The tax exemption on insurance contributions (TSCA) for electric vehicles will end on December 31, 2023. A subsidized economy does nothing good, on the contrary it distorts the market creating an illusion for buyers. Let's also not forget the increase in the price of electricity which will make a full electric tank more expensive than a full tank of gasoline. Macron's government has asked insurers to moderate their prices in the face of the significant rise in inflation.

Ticket machine and terminal for electric cars.

Philippe Saby, general manager of the broker Sally Azar gives us an example of an increase:
“This can represent a 27% increase in the comprehensive insurance premium.”
The insurer's problem is also to prevent fires caused by electric battery fires when the car is in the garage of the house. This specific case de facto leads to an increase in home insurance of around more than 5%.

drinking water leaks

The Free ThinkerStop drinking water leaks in France!

The Free Thinker - Jul 08, 2023

Drinking water losses in our country are considerable, around 1 liter out of 5, or 1 billion m3 per year!

Instead of destroying the French economy and its industry by putting in place dangerous and useless restrictions under the pretext of saving the climate, it would be much more interesting to invest a few billion in the repair of the water distribution networks in order to to recover this billion m3 of drinking water which disappears each year in leaks. This money, moreover, would go to French employees by reducing unemployment, unlike the billions of euros given to Big Pharma which end up in tax havens for risky purulent injections with catastrophic adverse effects.

Russian Academy of Sciences

VoltairenetGlobal warming and the confrontation of the West against rest of the world

Voltairenet - June 10, 2023

The theory of the anthropogenic cause of global warming will soon be at the center of the confrontation between the West and Russia.

While no one disputes that some parts of the world are warming up, there is currently no alternative explanation for this phenomenon. But renowned scientists will present another at COP-28 in Dubai. They happen to be members of the Russian Academy of Sciences.

The theory that global warming is observable across the planet and is caused by human activity was popularized by the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC); a United Nations commission.

I have no expertise in climate matters and I do not allow myself to judge whether this theory is true or false, but I am an expert in international politics and I can assess the work of this United Nations commission.

About ten years ago, I wrote that, as its name suggests, the IPCC is absolutely not a scholarly academy, but an intergovernmental group. Its conclusions are therefore not the fruit of a scientific approach, but of a political debate.

The IPCC was created on the initiative of the British Prime Minister, Margaret Thatcher, in order to support his fight against miners' unions. Unsurprisingly, he concluded that using coal is bad for the environment, while nuclear is desirable. This is not a scientific theorem, but a political position.

Furthermore, I pointed out that the creation of greenhouse gas emission rights is not an intergovernmental initiative, but an idea of the Joyce Foundation, implemented by the Climate Exchange Ldt. Each state drafts its own legislation in this regard. He receives a certain quantity of emission rights which he distributes as he sees fit to companies. Those who use them only partially can resell the unused rights on a specialized stock exchange in Chicago.

The statutes of this Fellowship were written by a lawyer from the then unknown Joyce Foundation, a certain Barack Obama (future President of the United States). The call for investors for the launch of this Stock Exchange was organized by Al Gore (future vice-president of the United States), and by David Blood (former director of the Goldman Sachs bank). You can consider these people as bona fide environmental activists or high-flying crooks, it's a matter of perspective.

Over time, this political device has taken on a scientific veneer and good intentions so that it has become difficult to question it. However, there is an alternative scientific theory to explain global warming. It was stated by the Croatian geophysicist Milutin Milanković during the interwar period.

The Earth's orbit varies according to three natural cycles: its eccentricity, its obliquity and the precession of the equinoxes. Each of these variations follows a perfectly calculable cycle, between 20 and 000 years. These three variations combined influence the Earth's insolation and therefore its climate. This theory was confirmed in 100 by the study of ice cores during the drilling of Vostok (Antarctica). But it does not explain everything.

firm law France

ReporterreFrance Farm law, Trojan horse of agro-industry

Reporterre - May 17, 2023

Reauthorized pesticides, support for industrialists... The bill "in favor of the Farm France" contains many environmental regressions, denounce the ecologists.

An “open letter to Father Christmas of the FNSEA”. It is in these terms that the president of UFC-Que Choisir, Alain Bazot, describes the bill "for a shock of competitiveness in favor of Farm France", which will be debated in plenary session in the Senate from May 16. Supported by Laurent Duplomb (Les Républicains), Pierre Louault (Centrist Union) and Serge Mérillou (Socialist Party), this text aims to offer “greater protection for our farmers against distortions of competition, both in Europe […] ] than outside”. It is strongly criticized by environmentalists, who fear significant health and environmental regressions.

First grievance: Article 13 of this bill, which proposes to revise the missions of the National Agency for Food, Environmental and Occupational Health Safety (ANSES). Since 2015, this institution has been responsible for issuing, withdrawing or modifying marketing authorizations for pesticides. This article could clearly complicate his task. It requires the Agency to present, in each of its decisions, "a detailed balance of benefits and health, environmental and economic risks".

The spokesperson for the Future Generations association, François Veillerette, considers this legislative proposal “very worrying”: “It would increase the formalities, and risks dissuading ANSES from taking withdrawal decisions. “” It is very serious, confirms the environmental senator of Ille-et-Vilaine Daniel Salmon. She undermines the independence of ANSES, saying that the economic fact must be taken into account, in the face of health and environmental issues. »

low-tech and future

ReporterreHow low-tech can escape capitalist takeover

Reporterre - Apr 20, 2023

In “Low-Tech Perspectives. How to live, do and organize differently? Quentin Mateus and Gauthier Roussilhe wonder: can low tech retain its emancipatory potential or is it doomed to be led astray.

High-tech pollutes and alienates us; faced with them, more energy-efficient alternatives are being developed, which can be appropriated by their users and adapted to our needs: low-tech. While this idea is comforting, it is too simple to be true. This is often the case when a turnkey solution seems to have been discovered. In an exciting little book, Low-Tech Perspectives. How to live, do and organize differently? (Divergences editions), Quentin Mateus and Gauthier Roussilhe explore the ambiguities of low-tech and identify the pitfalls into which the movement risks falling.

“Nothing says that low-tech represents a miracle solution, but it helps us to understand that we are going through […] a technical crisis”, they ask straight away. The authors, respectively a long-time companion of the Low-Tech Lab and an independent researcher specializing in the environmental consequences of digital technology, had the opportunity to observe low-tech initiatives in the four corners of France and Europe, and offer in this book a stepping stone.

This reflection is all the more important as the trend is reaching a tipping point: now that the myriad of low-tech initiatives are attracting public attention, can this technological path retain its emancipatory potential by spreading massively, or is it doomed to be taken over by the market and led astray?

superhero scrubland

ReporterreThe scrubland, super-heroine against drought

Reporterre - Apr 19, 2023

As water shortages set in across France, let's take a walk through the scrubland. This typical environment of the Mediterranean rim abounds with plants adapted to drought. However, it remains threatened.

It stings, it scratches, it scratches. Under an already bright sun, our spring ride quickly takes on the air of an obstacle course. Slalom between the kermes oaks with serrated leaves and the scorpion broom, take care not to stumble on the rockeries, watch for the beneficial shade of a pine tree. “Welcome to the garrigue! said Thibault Suisse with a smile. Our guide for the day is a botanist with the Écologistes de l'Euzière, an association in Hérault which does, among other things, environmental education.

"The particularity of this environment is that it is semi-arid", explains the naturalist. And that is precisely what brings us here, to this bushy massif a few kilometers from Montpellier: in these times of chronic drought, the Mediterranean region, which has lived without much water for millennia, is a model. Tomorrow perhaps, other areas of France will look like these bare and amazing hills. n these times of chronic drought, the scrubland, which has existed for millennia without much water, is a model in France.

The habit does not make the monk, goes the saying. And the scrubland, under its surly appearance, hides a multitude of species with superpowers. To survive here, the vegetation has indeed had to adapt to the lack of water, the scorching summers, the fires...
Small, leafy and shiny

First singularity, “the plants here do not lose their leaves, explains Thibault Suisse. They keep them all year round to be able to photosynthesize and develop as soon as the conditions are optimal”. Many Mediterranean plants germinate and flower in the fall, when most of their continental counterparts prefer spring or summer. Another originality is their size: "The smaller we are, the less water we need", specifies the naturalist.

Faced with droughts, it is also — and above all — a question of keeping water, in other words, of not sweating too much. “Many species have developed the 'K-Way technique', points out our guide. Their leaves are coated with a thin film of wax, called a cuticle. » With their shiny foliage, the kermes oak or the holm oak sweat less in summer.

Another unstoppable trick: “Thyme or rosemary have very thin leaves, juniper cade has rather a needle,” describes the naturalist. The Phoenician juniper has opted for scales. » Different options for the same result: reducing the evapotranspiration surface.

Company at Mission

The Francophone SakerValérie Bugault: The “mission society”: antithesis of participation

Le Saker Francophone - Apr 17, 2023

At the express request of the Charles de Gaulle Foundation, I have agreed to clarify somewhat the legal and political context in which a new form, legally very absurd, of business, the "mission company", has taken place.

The company's mission naturally results from its sole corporate purpose.

We must start by specifying that giving the company a “mission” is in no way an innovation in relation to the existence of the corporate purpose. Indeed, it is the corporate purpose that explains the mission of the company, there is no need to add other missions; except, of course, to pursue a political objective which has nothing to do with the free and honest organization of the economy via the concept of enterprise.

This new “mission of the company” is in fact an additional regulatory constraint intended to weigh on entrepreneurs – who are already tired of all the existing ones. In order not to appear for what it is, this new constraint is deployed on a voluntary basis, at least initially, during a test period.

There is no doubt that this volunteering will, one day, be transformed into a compulsory legal form in order to respond, under the pretext of climate change, to the ecological objective known as "zero carbon", widely conveyed at the global level by organizations such as the IPCC. , COP 21, the UN and Davos.
Infiltration of Anglo-Saxon law in continental law countries

When we have worked for a long time on the methods of infiltration of Anglo-Saxon commercial and maritime law into our traditional law, it is easy to detect the methodology that the Anglo-Saxons improperly call soft law. Improperly because, if the first appearance presents itself as being soft – understanding not obligatory – the final result never is: on the contrary, we are really in the hard, or hard law.

In this case, with the “mission society” we are in an intermediate phase of optional positive law, in other words optional hard law… the regulatory creativity of the economic dominators definitely has no limits.
Imperialist and globalist origin of Anglo-Saxon commercial-maritime law

This commercial-maritime law was developed for the needs of the imperialist cause developed by Olivier Cromwell; it was entirely ab initio under the financial control of the City of London.

This type of “law” has spread widely at the international level, via numerous ad hoc institutions. Among these institutions, the British "India Company" occupies a special place: that of elaborating a model of extraterritorial development of the British financial state. This pattern is found today in the “World Economic Forum” (WEF) which meets regularly in Davos. This “FEM” is nothing other than the global synthesis of “international chambers of commerce” acting under the direction of British high finance.

This particular entity, the GEF, aims to achieve widespread wealth grabbing. Its traditional modes of expression are genocide and slavery, on the precise model of what were the East India Companies, particularly the British and Dutch companies; which have historically developed around what is now known as “public-private partnership” (PPP).
