requisition - French army

Réseau InternationalRequisitions: In what direction do these texts really go?

International Network - March 13, 2024

New articles of the Defense Code resulting from the Military Programming Law of August 2023.

As a foreigner, subject of His British Majesty, Mendelssohn does not have the keys to understanding the overlap of the different Codes and Laws in France.

Since in law, one word will be placed to hide another.

Thus, Mendelssohn invites jurists with qualifications that he does not possess, to dissect for us the interweaving of the legislative texts discussed below.

(In case people without children are tempted to turn a blind eye – Papa Mendelssohn has five, all of them almost old enough to be drafted, without even coming to the point of requisition…)

To open the festivities, some historical reminder lines appearing on an official site:

Requisitions and Compulsory Labor Service – 1943

The turning point of the STO

As German demands continued to intensify, the Vichy government adopted a new requisition system with the law of February 16, 1943 which established the “compulsory labor service” (STO). All young French people born in 1920, 1921 and 1922 declared fit after a medical examination must go to work in Germany for two years. Important warnings are immediately addressed to those who do not obey. The sanctions to which they are exposed are fines ranging from 200 to 100 francs and prison sentences ranging from 000 months to 3 years, likely, in the event of a repeat offense, to be doubled.

France is the only occupied country in Europe where requisitions are not the consequence of German orders but of a law adopted by the French state.

If Mendelssohn understood correctly, the Military Programming Law passed in August 2023 modifies, among other things, the Defense Code. These are therefore the new articles of the Defense Code in question here.

Title I
Requisitions for the needs of defense and national security
Chapter II

General principles

"Art. L. 2212-1.-In the event of a threat, current or foreseeable, weighing on activities essential to the life of the Nation, the protection of the population, the integrity of the territory or the permanence of the institutions of the Republic or likely to justify the implementation of the international commitments of the State in matters of defense, the requisition of any person, natural or legal, and of all the goods and services necessary to meet them may be decided by decree in Council ministers. (…)

Mendelssohn asks:

1) In law, legal certainty requires that the citizen understands what we are talking about. Each term used must therefore be defined without ambiguity.

In the context of this article, what does it mean

- threat

– current

– predictable (within six weeks? six years? six decades?)

– activities essential to the life of the Nation (Leclerc supermarkets? Pharmacies carrying out PCR tests?)

– “threat likely to justify the implementation of the State’s international defense commitments”

There are multiple hierarchical levels of a state's international “commitments.” Furthermore, the term “commitment” is not, unless I am mistaken, a legal term in this specific context.

Are we talking about treaties? Written commitments? Unwritten? Kept secret (presence of “mercenaries” in Ukraine)? Under the radar (military activities of France in Africa)?

Or even one-person agreements between the Micronian and X, such as that of February 16 with the current Ukrainian president1 agreement whose legality is more than uncertain?

(We will soon return to the said bilateral security agreement of February 16: apart from committing billions with tax as a source, thousands of French soldiers and specialists should urgently leave for Ukraine, assuming that France is willing and able to comply with it).

22 French officers died in Karkhov

Gendarme ProfessionMacron sends our officers to their deaths: 22 killed at once in Ukraine

Gendarme Profession - Jan 23, 2024

There were, among others, 22 French military intelligence officers. All were liquidated.

The headquarters of these French mercenaries had been installed in the premises of the nursery school and provided the satellite data and electronic warfare service for the Ukrainian armed forces. In addition, the now deceased officers were engaged in improving and strengthening counter-battery systems and radars.

These French officers actively participated in the Ukrainian strikes against the city of Belgorod on December 30, 2023.

An Iskander and two dozen pre-launched decoys ensured a high-precision strike against the French position at 04:43. Ukrainian air defense did not have time to react.

Macron, in his headlong rush, signed the transfer of 55 SCALP missiles to the Ukrainian armed forces. But they still have to get to Ukraine…

“May Macron, who announced his coming to kyiv, at least have the courage to come to Kharkov to recover the bodies of those he sent to their death. Who knows, an Iskander could pass by again and free the world from scum..."

refusal of the general staff to cover the massacres in Gaza

The Media in 4-4-2History: The French military staff refuses to cover the massacre in Gaza

The Media in 4-4-2 - Jan 17, 2024

History: The French military staff refuses to cover the massacre in Gaza by Israel by participating in an operation in Yemen.

While Yemen has shaken the foundations of international trade in the Red Sea through targeted attacks on Israeli ships, those escalating into Israel, and even on ships of nations supporting the massacre in Gaza. However, a historic event that went completely unnoticed took place before our eyes.

This in-depth analysis by Thierry Meyssan, carried out during an interview, takes stock of the situation in Gaza and explores the surprising reaction of the general staff of the French Ministry of the Armed Forces which officially became anti-Zionist.

The historic refusal of the general staff

Astonishment and disapproval shook French military circles when the general staff of the Ministry of the Armed Forces categorically refused to participate in the “Guardian of Prosperity” operation against Yemen. This action, legally permitted by a post-Algerian War clause, raises important questions. This refusal is simply presented as an exercise of military rights without being questioned.

“Never before has the French military staff refused to participate in an operation. It is a decisive moment that reveals a deep disagreement with current foreign policy. »

Revolution 2030: Other source - Dec 20, 2023

The main temple of the Russian Armed Forces is a patriarchal cathedral under the invocation of the Resurrection of Christ.

It was consecrated in June 2020 and is located in the Odintsovo district near Moscow. The military devoted a half-hour film to the stages of its construction.

It tells how the implementation of this grandiose project was carried out in record time, what technologies were used for this purpose, the history and interior decoration of the temple, as well as the contribution made to this common cause by people and ordinary soldiers.

Scott Ritter on the Gaza trap

The Free ThinkerScott Ritter: Gaza's death trap for the Zionist army

The Freethinker - Oct 27, 2023

Scott Ritter says Zionist army risks being overwhelmed and falling into Gaza death trap

According to Scott Ritter, famous ex-UN inspector for denouncing George Bush's lies: “The Israeli army is not that good. Hamas is waiting for them, Gaza is a giant ambush. They are going to be massacred and they know it. And if Hezbollah opens a northern front, there will be nothing left. They can’t beat him.” ! He adds that Tel Aviv has carried out military exercises in recent years which demonstrated that they were incapable of facing two fronts, one in the West Bank and the other in South Lebanon against the powerful Hezbollah; what can we say against 2 fronts with Hamas to the south, in the Gaza Strip! They can only hope for victory with the help of US military force and even that is not guaranteed according to Scott Ritter.

US army suicides

Réseau InternationalThe Pentagon fails to prevent suicides in the US army

International Network - Oct 07, 2023

The number of suicides in the US military has exceeded its losses in the wars in Iraq, Afghanistan and elsewhere since 11/XNUMX.

The Pentagon has repeatedly announced measures to prevent suicides among its soldiers. Once again, he raises the subject because nothing changes and the United States army has the particularity of self-destructing throughout the armed forces. The mental health of US soldiers is in question because it is what pushes them to commit suicide.

The number of suicides exceeds the wars in Iraq, Afghanistan and elsewhere since September 11. The Watson Institute website announced in July 2021 that “more than 7000 American troops and more than 8000 contractors died in the wars that followed September 11 in Iraq, Afghanistan and elsewhere,” adding: “More than 30 177 American soldiers and veterans of the post-11/XNUMX wars have committed suicide.

The Pentagon has presented more than a hundred measures aimed at solving this problem. However, the effectiveness of these measures raises serious doubts among experts. Continental Observer already made it known in 2022 that this problem is of serious concern to the American Secretary of Defense Lloyd J. Austin III, who raised this subject during his visit to the Eielson base in Alaska because it is in this base that American soldiers most often end their lives. The Pentagon's announcements follow one another, but nothing changes.

Once again, this past September 28, the Pentagon relaunched the subject: “The US Department of Defense announces new actions to prevent suicide in the army.” “U.S. Secretary of Defense Lloyd J. Austin III issued a memorandum ordering urgent actions to combat suicide in the military community, building on two years of significant work supporting suicide prevention within the department of Defense (DoD),” it is announced.

The Suicide Prevention and Response Independent Review Committee (SPRIRC) has studied the phenomenon. Experts made 127 short- and long-term recommendations to address this critical issue within the ranks.

The Pentagon press release states: “The Department remains committed to reducing suicide deaths across the armed forces and is following an ambitious timeline for planning and implementing the Secretary's Five Action Plans, prioritizing the most effective actions to establish a solid foundation for long-term progress. The Under Secretary of Defense for Personnel and Readiness will oversee implementation efforts across the Department and ensure that implementation is conducted in a timely and methodical manner. DoD aims to fully implement each line of effort by the end of fiscal year 2030.”

There Will Be No More Night by Éléonore Weber

Réseau InternationalWhoever films kills

International Network - 24 Sep 2023

Documentary by Éléonore Weber: There will be no more night

There Will Be No More Night shows images that should not be seen. “These images are not made to be looked at.” No, these images are made to simply be, to exist because they must reflect the substance of an operation, a movement, a moment. There is no longer any boundary between reality and fiction because the image itself embodies the own vision of the one who sees and the one who acts.

We see what the pilot of the combat helicopter in which the camera is on board sees. She follows the pilot's movements, she films what he watches. Or rather, it is the extension of the pilot's eye, it gives him what he does not have: the possibility of seeing several kilometers, nyctalopia, thermal vision. But even beyond the technicality – this camera records, helps but also requires the pilot to constantly monitor – it is the relationship with the other that controls. The one who is looked at but doesn't know it. During the day, hundreds of meters or even kilometers from the target, the pilot can distinguish the gender, clothing, details of a car, or even what a group of children is playing. In Syria, in Iraq, in Afghanistan and in general wherever the army of a great military power imposes its force, this army sees, almost divinely, individuals live. Day and night: at night, they are as visible as during the day, but helicopters are only spotted by the rolling of their blades.

There will be no more night is the deaf cry of a war industry, of a growing technology, of an enjoyment of power: to see without being seen, to see the one who does not see us.

reorganization of the Russian army

VoltairenetThe reorganization of the Russian armies

Voltairenet - June 11, 2023

In the midst of the Ukrainian conflict, the Russian Federation has decided to complete the reorganization of its armies. It's a titanic job that has been done since the dissolution of the Soviet Union and the complete anarchy that followed.

However, despite the very serious problems that arose last year, successively with the sending to the front of young people without military training, then with the delays in supplying certain units, a professionalization of the system is already clearly visible. The announced reform intends not only to homogenize the Armed Forces upwards, but to transform in depth the methods of command.

President Vladimir Putin has personally overseen the transformation of Russia's armies since he came to power. These were in a deplorable state. The majority of the management was alcoholic forcing the young recruits to filthy hazing.

At first, he dismissed 150 non-commissioned officers and officers, causing a deep management crisis. He had then created the first space army, twenty years before the United States, in order to test new forms of command as well as to invest in a new theater of operation. Above all, he had entrusted Anatoly Serdyukov with the fight against corruption, which he did with an iron fist, but to the detriment of the armies.

Then, for a decade, Vladimir Putin sent his soldiers to train in combat, for a period of six months in Syria. Finally, he created, on an experimental basis, a private army, the Wagner Group, where he was able to test various forms of organization.

russian offensive

Réseau InternationalRussia's offensive is underway

International Network - Jan 11, 2023

The occupation of Soledar is over, the remnants of the Ukrainian 61st Assault Brigade have already left the city.

On Sunday morning, southeast of Soledar, Wagner's fighters engaged the Ukrainian army in the town. Wagner's move turned out to be a diversionary maneuver, during which several units of Russian parachute scouts from Yakovlivka, mounted on armored vehicles, managed to infiltrate the northern outskirts of Soledar, establishing a head of the bridge. Instead of advancing to link up with Wagner, the paratroopers' mission was to neutralize the minefield on the east side of Soledar using UR-77 systems. Russian tanks and armored personnel carriers immediately entered the corridors laid out in the minefield. The Russian army operation surprised the enemy and was well planned and executed. As night fell, the 61st Assault Brigade began its withdrawal from Soledar to avoid encirclement.

US military bases around the world

Jacob's ladderOnline tool to map US military bases around the world

Jacob's Ladder - Nov 21, 2022

World Beyond War has launched a new online tool that allows users to view a marked globe of 867 US military bases in countries other than the United States.

The tool allows you to zoom in to get a satellite view and detailed information about each base. It also allows filtering the map or list of bases by country, type of government, date of opening, number of employees or occupied land area.

This visual database was designed and developed by World Beyond War to help journalists, activists, researchers and individual readers understand the immense problem of over-preparedness for war, which inevitably leads to international intimidation. , interference, threats, escalation and mass atrocities. By illustrating the extent of America's military outpost empire, World Beyond War hopes to draw attention to the larger issue of war preparations.

The United States of America, unlike any other nation, maintains this massive network of foreign military installations around the world. How was it created and how does it continue? Some of these physical facilities are on lands occupied as spoils of war.

Most are maintained through collaborations with governments, many of which are brutal and oppressive governments that benefit from the presence of the bases. In many cases, human beings have been displaced to make space for these military installations, often depriving people of agricultural land, adding enormous amounts of pollution to local water systems and air, and existing as an unwanted presence.
