German diplomacy put on a fascinating show of 'counterpoint' with Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock welcoming her G7 partners to Münster on November 3-4, even as Chancellor Olaf Sholz set sail from Berlin for a day-long visit in Beijing.

Germany is catching up on photojournalism. Seriously, the photo could not have frozen more meaningfully for global audiences the two-faced nature of German diplomacy as the current government's coalition pulls in different directions.
Essentially, Baerbock underscored her displeasure with Scholz's visit to China by rallying like-minded G7 counterparts around her. Even by the standards of coalition politics, this is an excessive move. When a country's top leader is visiting abroad, a show of dissonance undermines diplomacy.
Similarly, Baerbock's G7 counterparts chose not to wait for Scholz's return. Apparently, they have closed minds and the news of Scholz's discbaerbussions in Beijing won't change that.

Germany has fined Telegram $5 million for refusing to comply with German censorship orders.
The Federal Office of Justice claimed that the messaging platform has refused to create a way for users to report illegal content or to establish a physical office where complaints can be lodged, as required by law. German governing social media platforms.
German authorities added that their attempts to contact Telegram executives in the United Arab Emirates had failed. A German-based law firm said it represented Telegram, but that did not constitute adequate compliance, according to the Federal Office of Justice.

It all started when Gazprom revealed that the NS2 B line was intact; not only did it escape pipeline terrorism, but it could “potentially” be used to pump gas into Germany.
This confirms once again that NS2 is an engineering marvel. In fact, the whole system: the pipes are so strong that they have not been broken, but simply punctured.
Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak continued, with a caveat: restoring the entire system, including NS, is possible, but “requires time and appropriate funds.” But first, in Russia's order of priorities, the perpetrators must be conclusively identified.
