filling of water tables in France

Revolution 2030: Other sourceFrance: Situation of groundwater tables as of April 1, 2024

Revolution 2030: Other source - May 06, 2024

Hexagonal map of France of the groundwater situation as of April 1, 2024.

Map established on April 10, 2024 by the BRGM, using data from the ADES bank acquired until March 31, 2024. Data source: ADES bank (ades.eaufrance.fr) / Hydroportail (hydro.eaufrance.fr) / Fond map © IGN. Data producers and contribution: APRONA, BRGM, Vendée Departmental Council, Landes Departmental Council, Lot Departmental Council, EPTB Vistre Vistrenque, Grandes Causses Regional Natural Park, Mixed Union of Studies and Works of Astien ( SMETA), Joint Union for the protection and management of groundwater in the Roussillon plain (SMNPR).

This map presents the global indicators reflecting the average fluctuations of the water tables. They are established from point indicators recorded at groundwater level monitoring points (piezometers).

The "Water table level" indicator compares the current month with the same months of the entire chronicle, i.e. at least 15 years of data, and up to more than 100 years. It is divided into 7 classes, from the lowest level (in red) to the highest level (in dark blue).

The gray areas correspond to sectors without free water tables, that is to say with an impermeable or semi-permeable layer above the water table, and/or sectors with a very low density of monitoring points. The latter case particularly concerns mountainous areas whose water tables are small and heterogeneous.

The “Change in levels” indicator reflects the variation in the water level for the past month compared to the two previous months (stable, upward or downward).

These global indicators reflect general situations and trends and do not take into account possible local disparities.

CO2 is good for the Earth

Jacob's ladderEarth greener thanks to increased CO2 in the atmosphere

Jacob's Ladder - Jan 13, 2024

Freeman Dyson: The entire Earth is greener thanks to increased carbon dioxide in the atmosphere.

According to the late Freeman Dyson, computer models help you understand the climate, but they do a very poor job of predicting it.

Freeman Dyson (1923–2020) was a British-born American theoretical physicist and mathematician, known for his work on quantum field theory, astrophysics, random matrices, the mathematical formulation of quantum mechanics, the physics of matter. condensed, nuclear physics and engineering. He was one of the most famous figures in XNUMXth century physics.

In 2006, Dyson published “The Scientist as Rebel,” in which he questioned the role of human activity in causing climate change. In a 2008 interview with Physics World, he said that money spent on fighting climate change should instead be targeted at "other more pressing and important problems, such as poverty, infectious diseases, “public education and health”. He also said that thinking about the potential benefits of climate change “won’t do us any harm.”

In 2015 he joined Stuart McNish, host of Conversations that Matter. “There is human-caused climate change,” he said. “The question is how much and whether it’s good or bad.”

“First of all, we don't understand the details. "It's probably a lot less than is commonly claimed and the most important thing is that carbon dioxide has enormous non-climatic effects that are extremely favorable [and] that are not taken into account," he said. declared. As measured by satellites, “the entire Earth is becoming greener because of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere.”

Dyson began studying the effects of carbon dioxide (CO2) present in the atmosphere on vegetation "37 years ago", that is to say around 1978.

He explained that increased CO2 leads to increased agricultural yields, forests and all kinds of growth in the biological world. “And that’s more important and more certain than the climate effects,” he said.

When he began studying the effects of CO2 on plants, he thought the effect might be around 10%. But 35 years later, he found that figure was about 25 percent. CO2 increased by about 40% and “about half of that went to vegetation,” he said. “It’s extremely beneficial both for food production, but also for biodiversity, species preservation and everything good.” This comes from observable evidence, he added.

Regarding the idea that models are good predictors, he recalled what Japanese climate expert Suki Manabe, who developed the first climate model in the 1960s, linked warming of Earth's climate to increasing of carbon dioxide, always said and always says: “These climate models are excellent tools for understanding the climate, but they are very poor tools for predicting the climate.

The reason they fail to predict climate is simple, Dyson explained. “These are models that contain only a few factors, but there are many things they forget: The real world is much more complicated than the models.”

“I don't think any of these models can really be predictive,” he added, because climate change is too complex and involves too many factors. “You just can't model everything, it's really out of reach,” he said.

Some climatologists claim that the Sun has no effect because its temperature does not change. “It is true that the temperature of the Sun does not change,” Dyson said. “But its activity is changing.”

By activity, Dyson refers to sunspots and magnetic storms. “They fluctuate very strongly with the 11-year cycle and we see an effect on the climate,” he said.

Nir Shaviv has studied the effects of the Sun's activity: "He's finding a direct effect of this solar cycle, this sunspot cycle, on climate," Dyson said. “It is clear that this activity of the Sun is having an effect.”

“There was an important additional piece of evidence, namely the Little Ice Age, which occurred in the 17th century, and which also coincided with when the Sun went to sleep for about 70 years,” said Dyson. “There was a thing called the Maunder Minimum, when sunspots just didn't appear and at the same time there was a very cold climate in Europe. So that's pretty strong evidence of correlation. But there is now direct evidence and challenge from modern observations.

The other trick of the climate alarmists is to take water vapor “out of the equation.” Water vapor makes up about 90% of the atmosphere. So you can't take water vapor out of the equation, Dyson said. "It's fine [to neglect water vapor] if you want to talk about Mars," Dyson said with a laugh, because there is no water vapor on Mars.

“CO2 is so beneficial in other ways that it would be foolish to try to reduce it,” Dyson said. “The fact is that carbon dioxide will increase, we will continue to burn oil and coal and that will probably do us good – the Earth will become greener. »

“As measured from space, the entire Earth is becoming greener from carbon dioxide, so this increases agricultural yields, forests and increases the growth of the biological world, and this is greater and more certain than the effects on the climate. »

The Francophone SakerFrom Covid-19 to climate change: The vehicles of global authoritarianism

Le Saker Francophone - Sep 17, 2023

As I have noted in the past, the Western world has come close to being completely subjugated and placed under perpetual medical tyranny by a coalition of government officials, globalist interests, and corporate partners.

Analysts of the freedom movement have often spoken of an “open conspiracy,” but it is only with the pandemic response that we have truly seen the mask fall and the agenda revealed.

Just five years ago, skeptics most often replied that such a conspiracy was “impossible” because it was “too elaborate to be organized.” Today, these people look pretty stupid. It is undeniable that there is a cabal of power elites, that they are strongly organized around globalist ideology and that they want total centralized control of society. It is an immutable fact, supported by infinite evidence. The debate is closed. The Covid response put an end to that.

The list of crimes against civil liberties is long. The establishment and the political left (with the help of a handful of neoconservatives) have attempted to implement unprecedented authoritarian measures, from closing businesses and churches to forcing the wearing of masks (studies show that masks are useless), to forced vaccination using experimental mRNA products that have not been tested for long-term safety. In some countries (including New Zealand and Australia), Covid camps have been built to imprison not only citizens traveling abroad, but also those who do not travel. Legislation for the construction of such camps has been proposed in the United States.

Equality and ReconciliationMore than 1 scientists sign the 'No climate emergency' declaration

Equality and Reconciliation - September 03, 2023

International scientists have jointly signed a declaration rejecting the existence of a climate crisis and insisting that carbon dioxide is beneficial to the Earth, contrary to alarmists' claims.

A total of 1 scientists and professionals from around the world signed the declaration, including 609 from the United States.

The coalition points out that the Earth's climate has varied since its existence, with the planet having experienced several cold and warm phases. The Little Ice Age did not end until 1850.

“It is therefore not surprising that we are experiencing a period of warming today,” the statement said.

Warming is happening “much more slowly” than the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change predicts.

“Climate models have many flaws and are not at all plausible as policy tools,” the coalition said, adding that these models “exaggerate the effect of greenhouse gases” and “ignore the fact that enriching the atmosphere with CO2 is beneficial.” For example, even though climate alarmists call CO2 harmful to the environment, the coalition emphasizes that this gas is not a pollutant.

Carbon dioxide is “essential” to all life on earth and “favorable” to nature. Increasing CO2 is driving growth in global plant biomass while increasing crop yields worldwide.

CLINTEL also rejected the idea that global warming is linked to an increase in natural disasters such as hurricanes, floods and droughts, stressing that there is "no statistical evidence" to support these affirmations.

“Climate science should be less political, while climate policies should be more scientific. Scientists should openly address the uncertainties and exaggerations in their predictions of global warming, while politicians should unemotionally count the real costs as well as the hypothetical benefits of their policy measures.

Global Climate Intelligence Group (CLINTEL)

John Clauser

Jacob's ladderJohn Clauser, Nobel Prize in Physics 2022 banned from conference!

Jacob's Ladder - August 07, 2023

He denounces the imposture of global warming. Acquiescence lights up the face. Refusal gives it beauty.

Prohibit a Nobel Prize in Physics from making the planned speech at the IMF because he does not agree with the globalist doxa? They dare. Not even afraid, neither of ridicule nor of being discredited.

A Nobel Prize in physics ostracized for having denounced the “corruption” of climatology
John Clauser, Nobel Prize in Physics 2022, denounces the "corruption" of climatology. A conference he was to deliver to the IMF was immediately cancelled.

At the beginning of the month, John Clauser, Nobel Prize in Physics 2022, sharply criticized the doxa of "the climate emergency". In his eyes, this “dangerous corruption of science threatens the world economy and the well-being of billions of human beings”. The penalty was not long in coming. He was supposed to give a lecture on climate models to the IMF – it was immediately canceled and the page announcing the event disappeared from the IMF website.

This conference, scheduled for next Thursday, was entitled "How much confidence can we place in the IPCC's climate predictions?" Let's talk about it. A dubious answer was, apparently, not politically correct. John Clauser has long been critical of climate models; he notably regretted that the 2021 Nobel Prize had rewarded work on this subject. He is not alone – many scientists believe that climate models are essentially based on mathematics and the number of their incorrect predictions suggests that they do not deserve the recognition of pure science at the highest level. Opinion not shared by National Geographic magazine, as evidenced by an article entitled "How climate models became so accurate that they won the Nobel Prize".

Russian Academy of Sciences

VoltairenetGlobal warming and the confrontation of the West against rest of the world

Voltairenet - June 10, 2023

The theory of the anthropogenic cause of global warming will soon be at the center of the confrontation between the West and Russia.

While no one disputes that some parts of the world are warming up, there is currently no alternative explanation for this phenomenon. But renowned scientists will present another at COP-28 in Dubai. They happen to be members of the Russian Academy of Sciences.

The theory that global warming is observable across the planet and is caused by human activity was popularized by the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC); a United Nations commission.

I have no expertise in climate matters and I do not allow myself to judge whether this theory is true or false, but I am an expert in international politics and I can assess the work of this United Nations commission.

About ten years ago, I wrote that, as its name suggests, the IPCC is absolutely not a scholarly academy, but an intergovernmental group. Its conclusions are therefore not the fruit of a scientific approach, but of a political debate.

The IPCC was created on the initiative of the British Prime Minister, Margaret Thatcher, in order to support his fight against miners' unions. Unsurprisingly, he concluded that using coal is bad for the environment, while nuclear is desirable. This is not a scientific theorem, but a political position.

Furthermore, I pointed out that the creation of greenhouse gas emission rights is not an intergovernmental initiative, but an idea of the Joyce Foundation, implemented by the Climate Exchange Ldt. Each state drafts its own legislation in this regard. He receives a certain quantity of emission rights which he distributes as he sees fit to companies. Those who use them only partially can resell the unused rights on a specialized stock exchange in Chicago.

The statutes of this Fellowship were written by a lawyer from the then unknown Joyce Foundation, a certain Barack Obama (future President of the United States). The call for investors for the launch of this Stock Exchange was organized by Al Gore (future vice-president of the United States), and by David Blood (former director of the Goldman Sachs bank). You can consider these people as bona fide environmental activists or high-flying crooks, it's a matter of perspective.

Over time, this political device has taken on a scientific veneer and good intentions so that it has become difficult to question it. However, there is an alternative scientific theory to explain global warming. It was stated by the Croatian geophysicist Milutin Milanković during the interwar period.

The Earth's orbit varies according to three natural cycles: its eccentricity, its obliquity and the precession of the equinoxes. Each of these variations follows a perfectly calculable cycle, between 20 and 000 years. These three variations combined influence the Earth's insolation and therefore its climate. This theory was confirmed in 100 by the study of ice cores during the drilling of Vostok (Antarctica). But it does not explain everything.

The Media in 4-4-2Europe: First carbon pass for individuals from 2027

The Media in 4-4-2 - Apr 25, 2023

The European Parliament recently approved the legislative texts that make up the “Fit for 55” package. This plan aims to achieve the goal of reducing greenhouse gas emissions by at least 55% by 2030.

However, some of the proposed measures raise concerns among individuals. From 2027, households will have to pay a fuel and heating tax of up to 45 euros per tonne… knowing that a French person emits an average of 10 tonnes of CO2 per year, or an envelope of 30 billion. This measure comes at a difficult time for citizens, in this period of inflation against a backdrop of war in Ukraine.

Despite these concerns, Parliament approved the legislative package as a whole. The plan includes a reform of the European carbon market, with a reduction in emission quotas for large industrialists and an extension of the carbon market to the maritime sector. In addition, a carbon border adjustment mechanism will be created.

Although the legislative package includes the creation of a new Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism and a Social Climate Fund. The risk of business relocation is related to the possibility that companies choose to move their production to countries with less restrictive environmental policies to avoid the costs associated with environmental regulations. This can lead to job loss and reduced production in countries with stricter environmental policies.

InsolentiaeBanks paid 673 billion dollars to fossil fuel producers!

Insolentiae – Apr 20, 2023

In 2022, the world's major banks continued to pay hundreds of billions of dollars to producers of fossil fuels, the main cause of global warming.

This is what the NGOs of the Banking on Climate Chaos coalition ("bet on climate chaos"), which brings together associations fighting against climate change, denounce, Thursday, April 13, in a new report.

According to their calculations, made from financial information bases such as Bloomberg, the 60 main global banking institutions have paid a total of 673 billion dollars (616 billion euros) to companies such as Saudi Aramco, ExxonMobil or TotalEnergies, three oil companies. A significant part of this funding – 150 billion dollars (136 billion euros) – even went to companies that continue to launch new coal, oil or gas projects.

“Our objective is to alert to the gap between promises and practices. There is nothing more serious than to think that the situation is in good hands and that finance will save us, ”explains to franceinfo Lucie Pinson, director of the NGO Reclaim Finance, member of the coalition. In 2021, the major banks had committed, via the "Net Zero Banking Alliance", to achieving carbon neutrality for their portfolios by 2050.

This figure of 673 billion dollars is however down from last year (801 billion dollars). “It's too early to say if it's encouraging. We have seen yo-yo effects in previous years,” says Lucie Pinson. »

Transition is a transition… therefore a process!

Greta Thunberg

Equality and ReconciliationThe warmists well annoyed by the wave of polar cold which hits the USA

Equality and Reconciliation - 30 Dec 2022

Greta Thunberg had to cancel a conference on global warming because of polar temperatures.

Poor Greta is going back to her room, the -55° polar storm hitting the USA would have made a mess of her teenage nonsense. The hateful Swede, well wrapped up in her silver polar fox coat (but organic), will have to wait for the thaw to replace her legend of global warming with young Western sores. Clearly, Mother Nature cannot obey the injunctions of the IPCC.

At home, on the other side of the Atlantic, there is no polar storm, but spring temperatures that upset a government that is relying on the war in Ukraine to deprive the French of electricity. As a result, the power cuts of January, this Bornsteinian electrical repression, is called into question. The social engineers of globalism are tripping over their own carpet of lies, it seems.
