All men are Man - Victor Hugo

Réseau InternationalAll men are Man

International Network - Dec 15, 2023

“All men are Man and law has no shores any more than the heavens.” Is this Victor Hugo formula still relevant today?

The question deserves to be asked while from all over the world, from Ukraine, from Armenia, from Israel, from Gaza, from Africa, the cries of the victims of terrorism, of barbarism, of the murderous madness of men.

No generation can choose the trials to face.

But each generation has the choice of means: indifference, cowardice, madness or

Humanism and reason.

The tragedies we experience shock our consciences, shake up our convictions so hard that they can lead us to bad choices.

But humanism, that is to say the primacy of Man, of reason must prevail in all circumstances.

This century, still young, only 23 years old, is already for History that of terrorism, of barbarism, of murderous madness.

Will it also be that of murdered humanism?

All men are Man.

Unfortunately, the tragedies we are experiencing force us to do the opposite.

No, not all men are Man, not all victims are Man.

There are victims who must be mourned, avenged, and victims who can be ignored.

There are victims who have a face, a name, and those who are just numbers that we add up. The numbers don't make you cry.

Humanism does not choose its victims.

Humanism is Man, life, respect for all life, it is peace.

The indifference, not to mention the cowardice of Europe, of the Western world as a whole towards the Palestinian civilian victims in Gaza has serious consequences.

The US veto of a resolution for an immediate ceasefire is not acceptable.

According to the director of UNICEF, nearly a million children were forcibly moved south, into overcrowded areas deprived of water and food.

And yet the Western world looks elsewhere.

heavy losses in Gaza

Réseau InternationalPalestine: Occupation forces suffer heavy losses

International Network - Dec 13, 2023

The Israeli army is gradually recognizing that its enemies are serious fighters.

“In Gaza itself, the military is stunned by the scale of Hamas' strength in the region, which has built a de facto terrorist army stationed 50 minutes from Tel Aviv over the past 14 years, possessing hundreds of thousands of weapons ranging from various types of RPGs which are the main weapon for targeting soldiers, advanced rocket launchers, strike drones and strike drones modeled to counter those of the Israelis.

This includes mortar shells, AK-47 rifles, Dragunov sniper rifles, communications devices, operational telephone lines and explosive charges of different sizes.

The resistance is stubborn. She does not give up, even in areas that the Israeli occupation forces claim to have cleared:

“In Beit Hanoun, in the north of the Gaza Strip, located a few meters from Sderot, the IDF operated from the first days of the operation, achieving tactical successes. However, risks remain. Last week, Hamas terrorists broke out of a mosque in the city and new weapons caches were discovered.

The IDF targets Hamas commanders, and most of these terrorist cells are local and small, but as Beit Hanoun can attest, it will take months to completely rid it of enemy forces – and that is not the case. place where Hamas is strongest.

The occupying forces have relatively high losses, much higher than they admit. Via Haaretz:

“IDF reports 1593 wounded since October 7, but hospital data is much higher (archived)

For the first time since the Hamas attack on October 7, Israel said on Sunday that 1593 Israeli soldiers had been injured during that period.

The army said 255 soldiers suffered serious injuries, 446 suffered moderate injuries and 892 suffered minor injuries. The army released this information on the number of wounded soldiers and their condition after Haaretz reported two weeks ago that it refused to do so. (…)

VoltairenetHow Netanyahu falsifies the news

Voltairenet - Nov 22, 2023

We think we are correctly informed in the West about what is happening in Gaza. It is not so. The images we see are selected. The comments we hear do not allow us to understand them. They deliberately mislead us.

Any dissenting opinion is censored.

Like all wars, the one between the State of Israel and the Palestinian population is the subject of a media battle. The Palestinian Resistance does not need to tell the story of the injustice it is fighting against: you just have to look to see. It rather aims to magnify one or another of its components. Israel must, on the other hand, convince of its good faith, which after three quarters of a century of violation of international law is not an easy task.
Before the attack

Since the attack by the Palestinian Resistance on October 7, 2023, Israel has deployed all its services to make us believe that this attack is an operation by Hamas jihadists; and that he knew nothing about his preparation.

However, this attack was carried out by all Palestinian factions, with the exception of Fatah. Hamas defined itself until recently as the “Palestinian Branch of the Muslim Brotherhood”, as indicated on all its documents. In this capacity, he fought against the secularists of Yasser Arafat's Fatah and George Habache's PFLP, then against those of President Bashar al-Assad's Syrian Arab Republic. All, in his eyes, were only “enemies of God”. Hamas was financed by Israel and, in Syria, its fighters were supervised by Mossad and NATO officers. However, after the failure of the Brotherhood in Egypt and their defeat in Syria, Hamas was divided between a part loyal to the Muslim Brotherhood, led by Khaled Meshaal and still pursuing the establishment of a global Caliphate, and another which refocused on the liberation of Palestine. This second trend, initiated by Iran, reconnected with Syria until its leader, Khalil Hayya, was received in Damascus by President Bashar el-Assad. She also reconnected with the Lebanese Hezbollah, to the point of participating, in Beirut, in meetings with it and other components of the Palestinian Resistance.

Israel - USA: the collapse

VoltairenetThe collapse of Israel and the United States

Voltairenet - Nov 19, 2023

For the first time, the world is witnessing a crime against humanity live, on television.

The United States and Israel, who have been together for a long time, will both be held responsible for the mass killings in Gaza. Everywhere, except in Europe, Washington's allies are withdrawing their ambassadors from Tel Aviv. Tomorrow they will do it in Washington. Everything is happening as during the dislocation of the USSR and will end in the same way: the American Empire is threatened in its existence. The process that has just begun cannot be stopped.

While we have our eyes fixed on the massacres of civilians in Israel and Gaza, we perceive neither the internal divisions in Israel and the USA, nor the considerable change that this tragedy is causing in the world. For the first time in history, civilians are being killed massively and live on television.

Everywhere — except in Europe — Jews and Arabs unite to cry out their pain and call for peace.
People everywhere realize that this genocide would not be possible if the United States did not supply bombs to the Israeli army in real time.
Everywhere, states are recalling their ambassadors to Tel Aviv and wondering whether they should recall those they sent to Washington.

It goes without saying that the United States only reluctantly accepted this spectacle, but it did not just allow it, it made it possible with subsidies and weapons. They are afraid of losing their Power after their defeat in Syria, their defeat in Ukraine and perhaps soon their defeat in Palestine. Indeed, if the armies of the Empire no longer fear, who will continue to carry out transactions in dollars instead of their own currency? And in this eventuality, how will Washington make others pay for what it spends, how will the United States maintain its standard of living?

But what will happen at the end of this story? That the Middle East revolts or that Israel crushes Hamas at the cost of thousands of lives?

We will remember that President Joe Biden had first called on Israel to abandon its plan to move towards Egypt or, failing that, to eradicate the Palestinian people from the face of the Earth, and that Tel Aviv did not not obeyed.

“Jewish supremacists” behave today like they did in 1948.
When the United Nations voted to create two federated states in Palestine, one Hebrew and one Arab, the armed forces self-proclaimed the Jewish state before its borders had been established. The “Jewish supremacists” immediately expelled millions of Palestinians from their homes (the “Nakhba”) and assassinated the UN special representative who had come to create a Palestinian state. The seven Arab armies (Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Iraq, Jordan, Lebanon, Syria and North Yemen) that attempted to oppose them were quickly swept away.
Today, they no longer obey their protectors and massacre again, without realizing that, this time, the world is watching them and that no one will come to their aid. At the moment when the Shiites admit the principle of a Hebrew State, their madness endangers the existence of this State.

We remember how the Soviet Union collapsed. The state had not been able to protect its own population during a catastrophic accident. 4 Soviets died at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant (000), saving their fellow citizens. The survivors then asked themselves why they continued to accept, 1986 years after the October Revolution, an authoritarian regime. The First Secretary of the CPSU, Mikhail Gorbachev, wrote that it was when he saw this disaster that he understood that his regime was threatened.
Then there were the December riots in Kazakhstan, the independence demonstrations in the Baltic countries and Armenia. Gorbachev amended the Constitution to remove the old guard from the Party. But his reforms were not enough to stop the fire which spread to Azerbaijan, Georgia, Moldova, Ukraine and Belarus. The uprising of East German Young Communists against the Brezhnev Doctrine led to the fall of the Berlin Wall (1989). The crumbling of power in Moscow led to the cessation of aid to the allies, including Cuba (1990). Finally there was the dissolution of the Warsaw Pact and the tearing up of the Union (1991). In just over 5 years, an Empire that everyone thought would be eternal collapsed on itself.

This inevitable process has just begun for the “American Empire”. The question is not how far Benjamin Netanyahu's "revisionist Zionists" will go, but how far the US imperialists will support them. At what point will Washington consider that it has more to lose by letting Palestinian civilians be massacred than by correcting Israeli leaders?

The same problem arises for him in Ukraine. The military counter-offensive by Volodymyr Zelensky's government has failed. From now on, Russia no longer seeks to destroy Ukrainian weapons, which are immediately replaced by weapons offered by Washington, but to kill those who wield them. The Russian armies behave like a gigantic grinding machine that slowly and inexorably kills all Ukrainian soldiers who approach the Russian defense lines. kyiv is no longer able to mobilize fighters and its soldiers refuse to obey orders which condemn them to certain death. His officers have no choice but to shoot the pacifists.

Many US, Ukrainian and Israeli leaders are already talking about replacing the Ukrainian “integral nationalist” coalition and the “Jewish supremacist” coalition, but the war period does not lend itself to this. However, it will have to be done.

President Joe Biden must replace his Ukrainian puppet and his barbaric Israeli allies, just as Prime Secretary Mikhail Gorbachev had to replace his callous representative in Khazakhstan, paving the way for widespread protest against corrupt leaders. When Zelensky and Netanyahu are removed, everyone will know that it is possible to obtain the head of a Washington representative and each of them will know that they must flee before being sacrificed.

This process is not only inevitable, it is inexorable. President Joe Biden can just do everything in his power to slow it down, to make it last, not to stop it.

Xavier-Louis de Izarra - Nov 16, 2023

In the shadow of conflicts, the fragile voices of children resonate.

Their stifled laughter, their shattered hopes.

This video is a silent cry for the children of Israel and Gaza, innocent victims of a war that should never touch innocence.

Together, let's try to discover the light in the heart of darkness.

Gaza - the rage to live free

Réseau InternationalGaza, the rage to live free

International Network - Nov 09, 2023

In theaters on November 8, “Yallah Gaza” (Forward Gaza!), by Roland Nurier, testifies to the hell of living under blockade and the determination of Palestinians to fight for their rights.

Produced just before the devastating war that Israel is waging against Hamas and the civilian population, it becomes a valuable alert and mobilization document.

When, after his brilliant documentary “The Chariot and the Olive Tree, Another History of Palestine” (2019), Roland Nurier wanted to report on life under blockade in Gaza, he did not imagine that Yallah Gaza would be released during the war the deadliest the Palestinian territory has ever known. “Sending Gaza back to the Stone Age” is, however, an Israeli obsession. As soon as the settlers and soldiers withdrew, under the leadership of Prime Minister Ariel Sharon, in 2005, they opened the way for the electoral victory of Hamas in 2006, to which successive Israeli governments responded relentlessly with sieges – land, sea and air – appalling. Added to the encirclements are the wars: 2008-2009, 2012, 2014, 2021, 2022… another way of continuing the occupation of Gaza by encircling and asphyxiating it.

Despite some deprogramming in the flammable context following the Hamas attack in Israel on October 7, Yallah Gaza is released in theaters on November 8. The documentary (1h41) opens with a historical contextualization which proves absolutely necessary as the Palestinians of Gaza have no name, no face, no history for the general public. Before becoming “an open-air prison” and today a country-cemetery, this strip of land measuring 40 km by 12 km where some 2,2 million people live “crammed between the sand of the desert and the water of the Mediterranean” was “a crossroads of peoples and culture”. The city of Gaza (which gave its name to the entire territory) was founded around 1500 BC. JC The Bible makes numerous references to it, notably in the famous story of passion and betrayal of Samson and Delilah. This anchoring in the land and history, the reminder of the major geopolitical events which shook the Middle East with the creation of the State of Israel in 1948 and the occupation of the Gaza Strip in 1967 shed light on the specificity of Palestinian resistance in this enclave.

The film also addresses questions of international law, notably through the figure of Amina, who was the first Gazan to file a complaint for "war crimes" with the International Criminal Court (ICC) after the assassination of her father, his brother and sister during the Israeli bombings of 2014 (a complaint that has still not been addressed…). Some images of Israeli picnics on the Gaza border during these bombings or during the “return marches” show the culmination of Israeli acquiescence to this large-scale repression. Popular and non-violent, these marches, initiated in March 2018, left nearly 30 people injured. The Israeli army responded with live ammunition and explosives which deliberately maimed their targets for life.

Hezbollah - Iran - Hamas

The Francophone SakerHezbollah gains height

Le Saker Francophone - Nov 08, 2023

The Palestinian question, which Benjamin Netanyahu thought he had practically resolved by gradually assimilating “all of Israel” to a Zionist entity, has returned in force to the forefront of the political scene in the Middle East and international society, thanks to Hamas, the tank of Palestinian resistance.

According to Hezbollah Secretary General Hassan Nasrallah, the Hamas attack on Israel on October 7 was “entirely the result of Palestinian determination and execution, meticulously concealed from everyone, including the resistance factions based in Gaza […] and free from any entanglement with regional or international actors.”

In his historic speech in Beirut on Friday, Nasrallah stressed that Hamas' attack on Israel “unequivocally demonstrated that Iran has no control over the resistance factions, with the real decision-makers being the resistance leaders. and their dedicated fighters.”

Nasrallah's speech was eagerly awaited in capitals around the world, mainly for clues about Hezbollah's intentions for the future. But the master tactician instead focused on the bigger picture, because, as he put it, October 7 “heralds a changing landscape, requiring shared responsibility from all parties.”

Thus, stopping the Israeli aggression against Gaza and the victory of Hamas in the region should be the current objectives, which is in the national interest of Egypt, Jordan and Syria and a “capital importance” for Lebanon. Of course, the Gaza Strip has always been at the heart of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and has long been linked to Palestinian nationalism.

Hezbollah entered the battle for Gaza on October 8, because “what is happening on our Lebanese front will not be limited to it, it will extend beyond,” Nasrallah stressed. Therefore, the resistance operations carried out in southern Lebanon have a deterrent effect and any attack on Lebanon or preventive operation “would be the greatest madness in the history of Israel's existence.” He added that the escalation depended on two “fundamental factors”: the unfolding of events in Gaza and the conduct of the Israeli army towards Lebanon.

“All possibilities remain open on our Lebanese front, with each option being considered and capable of being implemented at any time, it is imperative that we remain ready to face all possible scenarios,” Nasrallah added.

“We have also prepared to counter the American fleet,” he added. Recalling the humiliation suffered by the United States in the early 1980s in Lebanon, Nasrallah said: “Those who want to avoid an American war should act quickly to end the aggression against Gaza... In the event of a regional conflict, the naval fleets and air warfare will prove futile and of no real benefit… your interests and your soldiers will be those who suffer the most and suffer the greatest losses.”

So what is the big picture? Nasrallah sums up the situation: “Even if we need more time, we are achieving victories in different areas, as we did in different areas in Gaza and as the resistance in the West Bank… This battle is characterized by resilience, patience, endurance and the accumulation of achievements, all of which aim to prevent the enemy from achieving his goals.”

It appears that the content of Nasrallah's speech did not take US Secretary of State Antony Blinken, who was traveling to Tel Aviv, by surprise. It can be assumed that the communication channels were active. To connect the dots, the head of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard's Quds Force, General Esmail Qaani, visited Beirut last Tuesday and met with Nasrallah.

The same day, Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian met the Emir of Qatar, Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, in Doha, and then the leader of Hamas, Ismail Haniyeh. (This was Amir-Abdollahian's second visit to Qatar within a fortnight).

In the chronicle of the Axis of Resistance, figures like Nasrallah (or Moqtada al-Sadr, the Iraqi Shiite cleric) are anything but one-dimensional figures. Iran's success lies in its tact, infinite patience and ability to adapt to the external and internal demands of resistance politics. This is largely the legacy of General Qasem Soleimani, who was targeted and killed by a US drone attack near Baghdad airport in January 2000.
