It's astounding, almost unbelievable. The State subsidizes one of the richest men in the world who has just been ranked by Forbes as the 2nd largest fortune in the world in 2023 with $231.9 billion!
Bernard Arnault who, like all multi-billionaires, set up his media empire to control propaganda, receives subsidies from public money: 14 million euros last year!!!
Then, this same multi-billionaire will write a small check for 10 million euros to the Restos du Cœur to make people believe that he is a great philanthropist, a man like the rest of us, who wears his heart on his sleeve.
How is it possible to give a multi-billionaire – who continues to multiply his billions – public subsidies? It should simply be prohibited by law because it is prohibited by reason. In other words, it is quite simply a pillaging of the public treasury by a decadent and totally above-ground bourgeoisie.
The State finds a way to subsidize the richest while asserting that there is no money for the poorest who have nothing to eat.
Widely taken up by the media, this rhetoric is gaining, it must be recognized, a growing success within the population which is lost in accusing poorer than him, while the richest rejoice. So much so that some on the left, like Fabien Roussel, even flirted with it. But, on closer inspection, we realize that this argument is based on a series of clichés and that it serves to mask other deeper problems.
Some reminders.
