cut the shit : we are going to use this US expression which means "go straight to the point", like OM, to talk about the great fires that affected the island of Maui in the Hawaiian archipelago in August 2023. This event gave rise to two interpretations, one conspiratorial, the other social. Here they are.
Firefighters had to fight against multiple simultaneous blazes, fueled by strong winds, themselves fed by the force of Hurricane Dora. Faced with the speed of progression of the flames, the population of Lahaina had to flee without looking back, sometimes even throwing themselves into the ocean.
There were some weird things about the alleged wildfire in Lahaina, Hawaii. Notably, the spokesperson who explained what happened was NOT a fire official or someone from local government with knowledge of firefighting or emergencies. Instead, we find Major General Kenneth Hara, the commanding general of the Hawaii Army National Guard. He said he did not know what started the fires. But he felt the low humidity and high winds "create the conditions for wildfires." He is an army general; what does he know about forest fires?
There is reason to question the general's assertion. The forest fire would only make sense if a forest of trees surrounded the town of Lahaina. This is the first problem of the story. There is no forest near the city. Indeed, the satellite photo below shows that the tallest trees near town belong to the Maui Kuaia Estate Cacao Farm. Cocoa trees are quite small ranging in height from 13 to 26 feet. But these trees are on the other side of a highway several hundred meters from the nearest building.
Maui residents refused to sell their land to elites
⚠️ The part of the island mostly destroyed by the fires was a privileged area right next to lavish mega-mansions
⚠️ Now many of these locals are being forced to sell their land and many have tragically died in the flames
In today's newspeak, any search for the causes of an event, other than that provided by the official media, is called "conspiracy theory".
Here, quoted in the order in which they presented themselves to us, are the elements that will enable you to form an opinion on the Notre-Dame fire, on the gigantic spoliation operation that it reveals, on Macron, on Parisian elected officials and those who govern us
If we look coldly at the event, we will make a double observation: by having recourse to terrorism, kyiv shows the limits of its power; but, like any terrorist act, the objective is to provoke a disproportionate reaction from the adversary.
Several sources within the Ukrainian state apparatus have claimed responsibility for the action, even in the entourage of President Zelenski.
A terrorist act always aims to be spectacular. But it also signs the attack capacity of those who commit the attack. By openly claiming responsibility for the attempt to destroy the bridge, the Ukrainian government reveals, however, that it is in a weak position. Terrorism is the weapon of the weak.
President Macron has elevated firefighters (like caregivers) to the rank of “heroes”. But in France it is not good to be a hero in times of covid madness. The heroes are tired and are excluded from their activity if they do not comply with the president's ukases, such as the experimental anti-covid injection.
About 5000 professional firefighters have thus been excluded or have fled the profession and many volunteer firefighters in training have moved on to other professions.
And these firefighters are sorely lacking on the fire front, as caregivers also subject to the injection obligation are lacking in emergencies and in operating theaters.
