Today's popular slogan is "Believe in Science."
It is often used as a weapon against people who reject not science in principle but rather one or another leading scientific proposition, whether it be the COVID-19 vaccine, climate change , nutrition (low-fat or low-carb diet), to name just a few. My goal is not to defend or deny any particular scientific position, but to challenge the model of science that the most ardent proponents of science seem to base themselves on. Their model makes science seem almost identical to what they mean by, and attack as, religion. If so, we shouldn't listen to them when they lecture us about the need to heed science.
The most obvious problem with the call to “believe in science” is that it is unhelpful when renowned scientists – that is, bona fide experts – found on both sides (or all sides) of a given empirical question. The dominant parts of the intelligentsia might prefer that we didn't know, but there are dissenting experts on many scientific questions that some blithely declare are "settled" by "consensus", i.e. beyond all debate. This is the case with the precise nature and likely consequences of climate change and certain aspects of the coronavirus and its vaccine. Without real evidence, credentialed mavericks are often accused of having been corrupted by industry, with the tacit faith that the scientists who express the established position are pure and incorruptible. It is as if the quest for public funds could not in itself bias scientific research. Furthermore, no one, not even scientists, is immune to groupthink and confirmation bias.
Thus, the chorus of “science followers” pays no attention to accredited mavericks, unless it is to defame them. Apparently, according to the believers' model of science, truth descends from a centuries-old Mount Sinai (Mount Science?) through a body of anointed scientists, and these statements are not to be questioned. Dissenters can be ignored because they are not among the elected officials. How did the elected officials achieve their exalted position? Often, but not always, it is through the political process: for example, appointment to a government agency or the awarding of prestigious grants. It may be that a scientist has simply won the adoration of the progressive intelligentsia because his or her views easily align with a particular political agenda.
But this is not science; it's religion, or at least it's the stereotype of religion that "followers of science" oppose in the name of light. The result is dogma and, indeed, accusations of heresy.

Thousands of people have reportedly expressed interest in participating in FDA-approved human trials of the brain-computer interface developed by Elon Musk's Neuralink.
A computer chip will be installed in the brains of participants, who can only hope for better results than Musk's test monkeys, many of whom met a grisly fate.
Business Insider reports that Neuralink, the brain-computer interface startup co-founded by Elon Musk in 2016, has seen skyrocketing public interest in its upcoming human trials. A recent report says thousands of people have lined up to take part in the trials, which involve the implantation of a brain chip, referred to by Musk as “the Fitbit in your skull”. This development follows the FDA's authorization for Neuralink to begin human trials, after initially rejecting its offer for safety reasons.
Neuralink's ambitious project aims to create a symbiosis between man and machine, enabling direct communication and control through thought. While the initial goal is to help people with neurological conditions, such as those suffering from paralysis due to spinal cord injuries or amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), the long-term view extends to broader applications, such as sending messages or playing games with your mind alone.
The process includes a craniectomy – the removal of part of the skull – followed by insertion of the brain chip and an ultrafine array of around 64 wires by a robot. These wires, thinner than a lock of hair, would then be connected to the brain. The chip, designed to be placed behind the ear, would replace the part of the skull removed during surgery.
Despite the keen interest it arouses, Neuralink has not yet implanted its device in a human being. The company has set a goal of operating on 11 people next year and more than 22 by 000. Before carrying out human trials, Neuralink carried out implantation operations on animal testing subjects, including pigs and monkeys, using the robot designed for this procedure. Elon Musk has pushed for the robot to operate faster and for operations to be carried out without human assistance, highlighting the urgency of progress in this area.

Governments routinely “classify” information relating to manipulation of the human nervous system.
In 1962, American scientist Allan H. Frey conducted experiments with pulsed microwaves, which produced clicking, buzzing, whistling, or banging sounds in the heads of people several thousand meters away. In his report, he also writes that with changing parameters it can produce tingling sensations or a perception of severe shaking in the head and claims that this energy "could potentially be used as a tool to explore the coding of the system nervous…and to stimulate the nervous system without the damage caused by electrodes” (see this).
In other words, Allan Frey was close to finding a way to manipulate the human nervous system remotely. This was quickly understood by the American government. Over the next two decades, Frey, funded by the Office of Naval Research and the U.S. Army, was the nation's most active researcher on the biological effects of microwave radiation. Frey made the rats docile by exposing them to radiation with an average power of only 50 microwatts per square centimeter. It changed the rats' specific behaviors at 8 microwatts per square centimeter. He changed the heart rate of living frogs to 3 microwatts per square centimeter. At just 0,6 microwatts per square centimeter, it caused the hearts of isolated frogs to stop beating by timing the microwave pulses to a precise moment in the heartbeat (see this and this).
In 1975, Allan Frey published his research on the blood-brain barrier in the Annals of the New York Academy of Sciences, where the blood-brain barrier (protecting the brain from poison that enters it with the blood) of rats, illuminated by pulsed radio frequency, allowed color to penetrate their brains. His findings were confirmed by 13 different laboratories in 6 countries and with the use of different animals.
In 2012, Allan H. Frey wrote an article in which he described how the American Brooks Air Force had falsified its experiment by selecting a contractor who injected the dye into the intestines rather than the blood, and thus ensured that the dye does not appear in the brain. This was supposed to help the US Air Force get people's approval to build radars nearby. According to Frey, the same Brooks Air Force Base then attempted to "discredit unclassified microwave research" in order to cover up "a classified microwave biological weapons program."
Allan Frey concluded: “Funding for open biomicrowave research in the United States has essentially stopped. » Moreover, the general public (around the world) until now knows nothing about the possibility of controlling one's brain activity remotely thanks to the effects of pulsed microwaves on one's nervous system.
In March 2021, American scientist James C. Lin wrote an article on Havana syndrome, in which he wrote that this disorder caused to American diplomats and government agents in Cuba and elsewhere was most likely produced by pulsed microwaves (see this).
On December 5, 2020, the American Academy of Sciences published a study on Havana syndrome, in which it states:
“Overall, directed pulsed RF (radiofrequency) energy, particularly in those with distinct early manifestations, appears to be the most plausible mechanism to explain these cases among those reviewed by the committee. »
But on March 2, 2023, American television CNN published an article on the report from the 7 American intelligence agencies. He stated that "there is no credible evidence that a foreign adversary has a weapon or collection device capable of causing mysterious incidents" (Havana Syndrome). The war against online censorship and surveillance has recently seen a tremendous development that could turn the tide in favor of freedom and privacy on the internet. Internet infrastructure titan Cloudflare has unveiled support for the Encrypted Client Hello (ECH) privacy feature, creating a sanctuary for free speech advocates and calling into question attempts to block sites already established.
For the uninitiated, as TorrentFreak reported, web blocking has been the entertainment industry's anti-piracy tool of choice for over a decade and a half. Used in over forty countries, this method involves Internet Service Providers (ISPs) blocking access to specific websites, often under a legal directive. After starting with rudimentary DNS blocks, the system has evolved, employing sophisticated Server Name Indication (SNI) eavesdropping techniques, or sometimes a mixture of the two. But it has also been used by governments to censor websites and block access to them.
However, the landscape has begun to change with the emergence of privacy-focused technologies, such as Encrypted DNS, that challenge these blocks. Today, the introduction of ECH is poised to revolutionize this field, rendering Internet Service Provider monitoring efforts virtually, if not completely, ineffective.
Simply put, ECH is an innovative privacy protocol designed to hide internet traffic and thwart surveillance efforts. Browser giants like Chrome, Firefox, and Edge have already given a nod to its implementation. However, for its potential to be fully exploited, websites must also integrate it. Cloudflare's decision to integrate ECH by default into all of its free plans, serving countless websites, represents a giant step toward widespread adoption...

This type of physical address, assigned to each Bluetooth chip injected with the vaccine, offers approximately 281.000 billion possible MAC addresses and changes every day, based on an algorithm preventing address falsification!
When walking down the street, the alphanumeric codes change with the continuous flow of pedestrians and vehicles. The addresses all have the same standardized alphanumeric format (MAC address), twelve numbers and letters, separated by a colon.
The more people there are, the more codes appear, the list is constantly evolving. The fact that codes change with passers-by only makes sense if these people themselves are carriers of them. For information, mobile phones and connected objects very rarely return this type of code, but device names or manufacturer references.

New peer-reviewed research published in the journal ImmunoHorizons shows that people inoculated against COVID-19 can spread antibodies generated by the shots to uninoculated people, through aerosols.
Due to the long mask mandates that have plagued countries for several years during the "pandemic", scientists from the University of Colorado decided to take a closer look at whether or not fully vaccinated people can transfer the antibodies generated by mRNA to their unvaccinated patients. Turns out they can!
Using a combination of tests to detect SARS-CoV-2-specific antibodies in masks worn by fully inoculated lab members, the researchers identified proteins produced by the immune system, which circulate in the blood and neutralize substances foreign substances such as viruses and bacteria.
“Consistent with results reported by others, researchers identified immunoglobulin G (IgG) and immunoglobulin A (IgA) antibodies in the saliva of vaccinated individuals and on their masks,” the reports explain.

When police suspected Oregon resident Danny Kyllo of growing cannabis at his home, they went to his home with a thermal imaging device to scan him. They found “hot pockets” in the house, which allowed them to obtain a search warrant and arrest Kyllo.

The latest data set released by NOAA, “PREDICTED SUNSPOT NUMBER AND RADIO FLUX,” appears to indicate an “adult” Grand Solar Minimum that will last through at least the 2030s to 2040s. And so we are heading into a new Little Ice Age with considerable growth of glaciers and polar ice caps, as well as much colder winters and summers, similar to the last Little Ice Age from 1645 to 1715. The Pasterze, the glacier near Austria's highest mountain, the Grossglockner, would more than double its extent to at least 30 km².

The era of captchas is officially over. AIs are now better than humans at solving “prove you are human” tests
Researchers have found that robots are surprisingly good at completing CAPTCHAs (Completely Automated Public Turing test to tell Computers and Humans Apart), those annoying little puzzles designed – ironically – to verify that you are indeed a human being.
In fact, as the team of Gene Tsudik from the University of California at Irvine discovered, robots are much better and faster than us at solving these tests, a worrying sign that this already aging technology is on the verge of to disappear.
As an as-yet-unpeer-reviewed paper indicates, researchers have found that despite the evolution of CAPTCHAs in sophistication and diversity over the past two decades, techniques for circumventing CAPTCHAs have also improved considerably.
“If left unchecked, robots can carry out these nefarious actions on a large scale,” the article reads.
“We know for sure that [the tests] are very unloved. We didn't need to do a study to come to that conclusion,” Tsudik told New Scientist. "But people don't know if this effort, this colossal global effort that is invested in solving CAPTCHAs every day, every year, every month, if this effort is really worth it."
